  Example of a simple Strategy, based on MACD crossing.  
 
MACD with Trailing stop and brackets
 
Preparation.   Look at 10 minute MACD chart  
Enter position Long Enter long when MACD crosses above its signal line

MACD is based on 13,30,9 parameters.

 

Short

Enter short when MACD crosses below its signal line

MACD is based on 13,30,9 parameters.

Long Profit target Exit when 10 minute MACD crosses below its signal line or bracket value is met but should not reverse positions if bracket value is met MACD parameters are different
  loss 0.20% move  
  Trailing stop   1 point to 1point , and trailing stop 10 points below.
short Profit target Exit when 10 minute MACD crosses above its signal line or bracket value is met but should not reverse positions if bracket value is met MACD parameters are 13, 30,9
  loss 0.20% move  
  Trailing stop   1 point to point and trailing stop 10 points below
Epsilon 0.00    
Wins 10    
Total 10    
Loses 2    
Stop 0.60%    
limit 0.20%    
    Other than the first trade entry and the last trade exit, subsequent signals are always down in doubles, meaning that when a long trade is closed off with a short , an additional short trade is entered to open a new short position.  
    The system starts trading from after 30 minutes till end of trading day. The last trade still open will be closed at end of trading day.  

General description

This is a MACD crossover system which reverses the trade at crossover points.

The stop loss is to protect against catastrophic moves against the trade.
