24 hours trading

Our servers are now available for trading 24 hours a day except during StrategyBot maintenance period, and FCM (Clearing House) proprietary maintenance period.

1. StrategyBot maintenance period

a) Server shut-down period - 23:50 (Chicago time) or 13:50 (Singapore time)

• Strategies and scale-outs are stopped*
• Manually placed orders (including bracket orders) for all accounts are canceled.
• Client console disconnects, so new orders cannot be sent.

b) Server Recovery Period

• Manually placed orders (including bracket orders ) that were canceled at shut-down (i) are re-sent to exchange.
• Strategies that have an over-night mechanism are restarted and any orders are re-sent to exchange.
• Client console reconnects

In other words, during the server maintenance period the user experiences a 25 minute disconnect of his console. Orders placed by strategies are canceled, unless the strategy has an over-night mechanism.

* Stop strategy does the following :

1. stops strategy execution
2. cancels all working orders generated by the strategy
3. transfers all open positions to User_Trader
4. moves strategy into Stopped status

At Disconnect time, all orders are cancelled .

a) All limits and smart limits are cancelled by exchange.

b) All synthetic orders, such as Stops , Stop Limits , MITs , parked orders an Smart Stops are cancelled by StrategyBot.

During maintenance period (Between Disconnect and Connect)

1. Contract real-time prices are updated.
2. New placed Market and Limit orders are rejected.
3. New placed synthetic orders are accepted, but if they become limit or market orders, due to the fact that their condition is triggered, they become rejected.

In other words, during the FCM maintenance period the user will not be able to execute orders on the exchange.
